Are the Rego Tube Label Holder recognised by the police dept for the display of rego stickers

Hi there, In regards to the legality of the tube type registration holders, the RTA will not confirm that they meet New South Wales registration requirements, however nor will they confirm that they don't. Their website states: "the label should be affixed on or adjacent to the vehicle's rear number plate without obscuring the vehicle's number plate characters. Suitable label holders may be purchased from most automotive retail suppliers. Please note that the holder should not obscure the label in any way" According to this, and to the best of our knowledge they are legal here in NSW.
