Hi, I tried the alpinestars gp pro jacket on the other day. Size 52 felt a bit tight and size 54 felt a bit loose. Which would be better in the long run? Which would you advise me to get? Do the jackets stretch over time? I am thinking of getting the the Alpinestars GP plus is the sizing the same as the GP pro. My old jacket is a teknic size 54 so is alpinestar jackets the same size or are they like shoes and each company has slightly different sizes. If you could get back to be asap so i can purchase a new jacket. Thanks

Hi Aaron, Thanks for contacting us, with race jackets it is always better to go with what feels comfortable because you don't want to be restricted in the riding position. As long as the protective armour was sitting correctly it's fine to go for the bigger size but being leather they will give slightly. We only have limited sizes in the GP plus jackets and they will fit quite similar to the GP Pro as all Alpinestars are a standard fit. The size will vary from brand to brand so the Teknic will be different to an Alpinestars, it's always best to try before you buy.
