The case opening/detaching system is operated with one hand only and the MONOKEY® and MONOLOCK® fitting systems guarantee ease of use together with a high reliability and durability that always characterise all GIVI products.

MONOKEY® and MONOLOCK® cases boast a patented locking system that enables the opening/detaching of the case and its attaching/releasing from the plate with a single key.

MONOKEY® cases are model specific and have a larger capacity than MONOLOCK® cases and are for use on motorcycles.

MONOLOCK® cases are a generic fitment, have a smaller capacity and are usually used on scooters and maxiscooters.

Does this Givi 248F kit come ready to mount a Givi plate as-is for an '02 CBR1100XX Super Blackbird, or does it also require the Z890 Joint Set? If so, how much extra is that set. Cheers, Rich. 0438112127

Hi Rich, The 248F mounting kit comes ready to mount to the Givi plate M2,M3 and MM. If the plate you have is not one of these then you may need to purchase additional parts but our Givi supplier does not have the details for the Z890 in their system so I cannot provide you more information at this time.

Dear Brian, If your model is the Z1000, then it's a new model and Givi hasn't listed a part number yet which means they are approx' 3 months away from being manufactured/supplied. Which model do you have? Kind Regards
