Along with its intermediate Oval shell shape is fitting a lot of riders very comfortably, the VECTOR brings an added dimension to the Arai line: A helmet created specifically as a less is more concept for the rider who doesnt want or need all the "bells and whistles," but who still demands the Arai name and everything it stands for.

Shell Constuction
The VECTOR's CLC (Complex Laminate Construction) shell utilizes Arai's proprietary aerospace fibreglass technology to achieve a strong, flexible shell in a lightweight package.

Patented Dual-Pivot Chinvent
This easy-to-operate, two position dual-pivot hinge mechanism allows for increased chinvent airflow capacity to areas: the first position directs air to the face through an activated carbon-coated foam filter; the second position sends the air to the facesheild to aid de-fogging.

Ventilation
The VECTOR's ventilation creates a flow-thru system of exceptional cooling via a total of eight vents (3 Intake Vents, 5 Exhaust Vents). The top vent controls are larger and easier to operate with gloved hands. Each has three-position settings for more control of the airfow.

Hyper-Ridge Band and Vent
Arai's distinctive Hyper-Ridge reinforcement band along the bottom of te shell adds reinforcement and shell strength.
What makes this "minor" Arai feature significant??
Many helmet makers reduce the shell material at the bottom of the helmet. But Arai maintains shell thickness to the very edge, and then strenthens it.
Why??
Because Arai's experience tells them to, and because they don't think its a good place to try to save a few dollars or a little weight.
